Gone Monochrome. OK so it has totally been one of those weeks (which seem to be much more frequent during the winter months) when exhaustion peaks and catching some Zs prevails. Since the start of the week I have been craving on getting my pastels, pencils et al. out and tackling Burberry and Mary Katrantzou, but it just ain’t happening. So since inspiration clearly is not coming on demand to me this week, I thought I’d share with you some photographs a friend and I took earlier this year.

So while I generally have (pretty huge) reservations when it comes to monochrome looks (aside from the blacks and the whites), I just could not resist pairing my Charlotte Olympia Paloma pumps with my PvdH (aka DIY) sand-washed silk tunic. 

My take from this monochromatic experiment? Adding one relaxed piece (boyfriend jeans will do it in a flash) to break it down and make it your own.
