Desertic
May 31, 2012 in PvdH Designs, PvdH's #todayimwearing

Desertic. Right about now I am craving the start of the rainy season here in Mexico (who knew I would be saying this a couple of months ago when I was living in London!).
The (almost daily) intense afternoon showers will soon revive the countryside (and help ease the heat we are currently sizzling under!). But in the meantime (bright) silk tunics are a must.

wearing: PvdH (aka DIY) sand washed silk tunic, ASH Jaipur beaded sandals (available here), vintage aviators
beautiful…

Paola, I cannot believe that I read you are craving for the rain…just remind yourself of all these beautiful pictures that you can take thanks to the shining sun! The dress is great (I would be curious to see the styling effect of a skinny belt…) and I really like that you pair it with the green sandals. Simply very chic!
Haha well the thing about rain in Mexico is that it is still sunny all day (generally), it pours down in the afternoon, and then it's sunny again! It is quite beautiful really, particularly of you are in the countryside (and it even hails at times!)
Just so beautiful and happy! And you wear those bright colours in such a wonderful way! Love the new dress very much. xxx
You look so beautiful among the Mexico grasses. It is like soft (the tunic dress) vs. hard (the landscape around you). Really neat contrast!
The tunic is so beautiful, what a gorgeous landscape too! xhttp://wewereraisedbywolves.blogspot.co.uk/
What a beautiful tunic ! I really like your choice of fabric, smooth ones, perfect for summer when a soft wind is blowing, the sensation must be great ! I love your sandals and their colors perfectly goes well with your tunic

You are so stunning! Your photos and style are spot on!! Following you!! xx-Laurenhttp://adornlafemme.blogspot.com/
This tunic has the perfect shade of orange-y red! Is it weird when I say it almost reminds me of a forest fire… But, ehm, in the good way?! I guess it's not the best thing to say when you're waiting for the rain season to begin. The look just really pops in the middle of this desert area, it stands out beautifully. (there, did this save my fire comment?) Anywaaaay… Have a good weekend!
