Venezia (kind of). Ah, good old Vegas has little versions of my favourite cities (Roma, Venezia, Paris, NYC…). All of them #MadeInTheUSofA. And while they are not even close to the real deal, they definitely are good enough for some (extremely!) touristy (and blogger-like!) photographs.

So here is my latest hand-painted dress which I sneaked-peaked to you guys earlier this week. Hand-painted flowers (by yours-truly of course) on crêpe de Chine and a silk organza skirt over it. Perfect for going from day-to-night in this (ultra!) hot weather (and alternating with flats and heels).

(Viva!) Las Vegas. What a strange (and incredibly fun!) (and incredibly hot!) city Las Vegas is. The heat and endless sun is much welcomed after the latest hurricanes and tropical storms back in Mexico (aka no sun! #tear).

Alas, here in Vegas the weather is too perfect to wear one of my latest dresses (top and skirt are united in the back). Shantung silk, two-toned (with black ‘n blue being one of my favourite colour combos), and a little cut-out.

Reminiscing. There are places which never fail to take me back to some (truly) wonderful times, and this fallen eucalyptus tree in our family ranch is definitely one of them. It takes me back to the moment it actually fell (a bit too close to some actual property!) and the memories as a kid of running up and down through it (funny to think it looked like a shortcut at the time!). It is one of those places which will always be special.

Oh, and I am totally rocking the pink ‘n red combo (which you might recall I was already a bit too enthusiastic about this winter back in London).

And (without fear of sounding like a Micky-D’s add), I’m lovin’ it.
