(PvdH) Pink

(PvdH) Pink. Hurricane season may have pushed me towards my recent bout of ‘photographic procrastination’ (and overdose on flash), but now I’m kinda (really) loving it (along with pink ‘n green) (and statement jewellery).
wearing: PvdH (aka DIY) pink tweed skirt, PvdH pink-quartz necklace, Yves Saint Laurent silk-satin top (find similar here in blue)
Love this style of photography, Paola! The over-exposure of the flash on you against the solid background poses a very interesting technique.
I’m quite jealous of that Yves Saint Laurent top you have – sometimes, tee shirts of that fabric either mesh across every unflattering shape, or they hang loose and slightly puff into unwanted curves. Of course, YSL would produce a quality piece that does neither and glides the body with smooth perfection. And it looks stunning on you!

I dont think I would call overexposing photographs unique as the likes of Marc Jacobs and Celine have been using this for years, but certainly new for ‘blogs’ and they do look really great.

Paola it’s a fantastic look, and def beautiful photos. I love the softness of the colors and fabrics! The chain necklace adds an edge yet the dusty pink color of the pendant fits perfectly the whole look.
