SoHo

September 17, 2012 in PvdH Designs, PvdH's #todayimwearing

SoHo. Gotta love NYC’s over-keen spelling at times (as in SoHo and TriBeCa). Anyways, random facts aside, it was a pretty (seriously) great trip. And (given that most of you have religiously followed Style.com and WWD for the latest collections), I have decided to hold off on publishing a series of photographs and will post them in a more progressive manner (you know, when they feel relevant to a particular fashion inkling).

But now lets talk a little bit about how ‘fashion rules’ are (totally) being broken in the past few seasons.

White never to be worn post Labor Day?! (And only after Memorial Day?!)

Pffff. I think I love my white denim even more nowadays once there is a chill factor in the air.

Blame it on global warming, the faster cycles in fashion, (or even my recent move to Mexico)- but I am finding it harder and harder to stay enclosed in just one season.

So bring on the fall, but I am telling you now that I am not ready to let go of lighter looks just yet.

wearing: PvdH (aka DIY) hand-painted crêpe de Chine top (take a closer look at the pattern here), PvdH (aka DIY) pink quartz and Swarovski crystals necklace, (customised) vintage jeans, Celine platforms, Zara blazer
