wrapped
October 1, 2012 in PvdH Designs, PvdH's #todayimwearing
Wrapped. When I first moved to Mexico from London a few months ago (time really does fly), my wardrobe saw a turn for the colourful. A serious turn.
But with fall already in the air, I have felt a slight crave for layering black once again (particularly for little night escapades). It just feels easy, fuzz-free (and not to mention elegant).
And hey, give me some pleated and draped organza and I’m (more than) there.
wearing: PvdH (aka DIY) silk organza wrap, Stella McCartney ‘tuxedo’ trousers, Burberry belt, vintage denim vest, Chanel ring

I LOVE this look! You look elegant and totally gorgeous.
Great photos!
Check my last post dearMaryFashionLove
mmm WOW I love this organza wrap. now if only i could get my hands on it…!
I love black, so I can’t say not to wear it instead of colour. I have a closet filled with black, I love it. I love both colour and just black. It helps to appreciate both things. When I need a break, I wear black, helps clear my head and when I was fun, I wear colour or both together even
You look gorgeous as always. I hope you have a super week
xx
I know what you mean. Black is cleansing in a way (particularly after seeing so much print as of late)
Ok I want to steal this idea from you!! Do you mind?

Oh Paola I you look so stunning! I generally have problems with layering black because it feels heavy and at times dull, but this looks so fresh! It might be your gorgeous organza wrap (we ahve seen this before right?)
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Kisses Gaby
Thank you Gaby! Yes, the organza wrap has been photographed a couple of times before (one of my favourite pieces!)

Loving this time of year for just that reason (black). There is just something about the way it looks.
Love the outfit. In addition to your beautiful illustrations, you are a wonderful stylist.
xo.
I’m blown away by the first photo of you. Absolutely stunning. You’re incredibly photogenic. I would never, not in a million years, thought about pairing an organza top or dress with a denim vest. But it works. I guess that’s the reason why style blogs are so popular because most like to take a peek at what real women are wearing.
Everything is beautiful, Paola! I wish I could see the top on its own – such a gorgeous piece. Funnily enough this morning I was thinking about you moving from London and how the time just went by…. I have pupster to blame – he made me think of Dedal and then the thoughts went off to you.
Hope the little one is loving her life in Mexico, just like her mummy (here, just so I don’t freak anyone out, I am definitely talking about the dog and you
)
