dries (please)

Dries Van Noten Fall 2013
dries. Fashion seems to be having a rather ‘wearable’ season, and Dries Van Noten had me clinging at my iPad a little bit too tight as I flicked through his latest on my way to Paris.

Pffff… It is not often that one wants to wear (and don’t even get me started on buying) every-single-look from a collection, but this is definitely one of those rarities.

Seriously. If Dries hit a (very) high note in my book last season with his plaid-chicness, he most definitely hit every-single-note for FW ’13.

Feminine without being well, too feminine… It had the perfect touch of androgyny that will still leave you feeling sensual (rather than overtly sexual). The long lean lines (a wonder for most body types), skirts over trousers (yes please!)(have been feeling this trend since Prabal brought it about a few seasons back), and the feathers. I cannot remember the last time ostrich feathers looked so… modern and wearable?

Crisp, clean, and a total embodiment of how I am feeling about fashion right now.
